Quinta da Gomeira can be reached in 30 minutes from Faro airport and is only 25 minute drive from the Spanish border. The waterfront is only a couple of minutes walk away as is the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and the historic fort of Sao Joao. From the waterfront, boats ferry holidaymakers to and fro all day to what is effectively an island beach "practically virgin and untouched".

There is ample parking directly outside the entrance to the apartment and three Supermarkets close by where you can purchase freshly baked bread and even a cash point machine. At the water front a couple of minutes walk away, there are daily fresh fish and fruit markets along with Restaurants and Cafés to suit all pockets.
